Wednesday, Apr. 06, 2005 Ok, there are 3 items on the agenda today: first off, I've made a big decision: i'm moving back "home," as soon as I can get a job. not that I'll be living at home, but in the same general vicinity. I've decided that sharing an apartment with my older brother wont' be so bad after all....and it just hit me that I really didnt want to spend the summer where I am. I'm not sure I'll relish the thought of living in a city though....even though it's a sad excuse for a city, size-wise...it's actually a big town, but I call it a city, because in my book, if it's crowded enough to have traffic lights, it's a city. but having said all that, I certainly don't regret spending those few months on my own....I think it was good for me, and taught me how to be more self-sufficient, (and maybe more responsible?) no idea when this will take place, but it will....and I don't even know exactly where I'll "go" from here, but God does and that's really all that matters isn't it? the second big event is that my dad's getting married in a little over a week.....crazy. It's going to be wicked small though...only a few family members & close friends, which is how I think weddings should be anyways. but that's me, what do Iknow. dad said he'll still love me if I don't wear a tuxedo (heck, I don't even think he will) so I suppose I'm at ease now. now that the evening news is over, it's time for an episode of dave's pet peeves: Pet Peeve of the Week: DRIVERS WHO DON'T USE THEIR BLINKERS! Don't you just love it when your driving down the road and the car in front of you just decides to slow down for no apparent reason? "ok, so you're slowing down. what for?? ok, so now you've come to a dead stop. WHY ARE YOU STOPPING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD? OH! YOU'RE TURNING LEFT! THANKS FOR TELLING ME!" I'm just another impatient American I suppose....sorry. we now return to our regularly scheduled dead air. -just your friendly neighborhood dave- |
